Cookies
To improve your experience while visiting our website, and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies on certain pages. The cookies and data we collect are not passed on or sold to third parties. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually on whether to accept them. [If any cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.]
What cookies do we recommend?
Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from your hard drive after the end of the browser session (hence session cookies are also deleted). Session cookies are required, for example, to allow you to use the shopping basket function across several pages. In addition, we also use cookies that remain on your hard drive. When you visit our site again, it will automatically recognise that you have already visited before, and it will recall the settings you prefer. These temporary or permanent cookies (whose lifetime is 1 month to 10 years) are stored on your hard disk and are automatically deleted after the specified time. In particular, cookies help make our offer more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Thanks to these files, it is possible, for example, that information related to your specific interests can be displayed on the page. The sole purpose of these cookies is to best tailor our offering to meet your wishes as a customer and to make your visit to our site as convenient as possible.
What data is stored in the cookies?
Personal data is not saved in the cookies we use. The cookies we use therefore cannot be used to infer the identity of any particular person, and therefore cannot be connected to you, either. When a cookie is activated, it is assigned an identification number. Your personal data cannot be connected to this identification number at any time and will not be done. Your name, IP address or similar information that would allow an allocation of the cookie to you is not provided at any time. Based on the cookie technology, we only receive pseudonymous information, for example about which pages of our shop were visited, what products were viewed, etc.
What is Onsite Targeting? / Why do we use cookies?
On our websites, data is collected on the basis of cookie technology to optimise our advertising and the entire online offering. This data is not used to identify you personally, but simply as a pseudonymous evaluation of the use of the homepage. Your data will not be merged with the personal data stored by us at any time. With this technology, we can present you with advertising and/or special offers and services whose content is based on the information obtained in connection with the clickstream analysis (for example, advertising that is targeted based on the user having viewed playground equipment in the last few days). Our goal is to make our online services as attractive as possible for you and to present advertising to you that matches your interests.
Google Analytics
ROCKEN® AG uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other countries that are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In exceptional cases only, the complete IP address may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the site operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other website activity and internet-related services to the website operator.
You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly; however, please be aware that in this case, you may not be able to fully utilise all the features of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent the acquisition of the data created by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available through the following link:

The use of Facebook social network plugins. Our site uses plug-ins from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). These plug-ins are labelled with a Facebook logo or the words “plug-in from Facebook” or “Facebook social network plug-in”. You can find an overview of the Facebook plug-ins and what they look like here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins Your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers when you visit a page on our website that contains one of these plug-ins. Facebook will transfer the content of the plug-in directly to your browser and embed it into the page. As a result of this embedding, Facebook is informed that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can directly link your visit to our site to your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example by pressing the “Like” button or making a comment, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also posted on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends. For the information on the purpose and scope of data collection and procession by Facebook, as well as your rights in this respect and settings options for protecting your privacy, please visit Facebook’s Privacy Policy: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. You should log out of Facebook before visiting our website if you do not want Facebook to link the data collected on our website to your Facebook account. You can also completely prevent the loading of the Facebook plugins with add-ons to your browser, for example “Facebook Blocker” (http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/).
Information, correction, deletion or complaint
According to the German Federal Data Protection Act (DSG), you have a right to free information about your stored data (Article 8 DSG) and a right to correction (Article 5, para. 2 DSG). In addition, by supplying a written notice and corresponding proof of your identity, you can request that your data be deleted. Please note that even after your request to block or delete your personal data, we must retain it, within the scope of our legal or contractual obligation to retain it (for billing purposes, for example) and, only delete your personal data as far as our obligations allow us. This means that you can object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes at any time by email. Such an objection does not completely exclude the collection of personal data. The objection only excludes the possibility that collected personal data may not be processed anonymously for marketing purposes and, for this purpose, may also be forwarded to other companies and analysed by them. We only retain your data for as long as is legally necessary or in accordance with the purpose of processing. In the case of analysis, we store your data until the analysis has been completed. If we store data on the basis of a contractual relationship with you, this data will be stored at least for as long as the contractual relationship exists and at the latest for as long as we have limitation periods for possible claims or there is a legal or contractual obligation to retain it. If you have any questions about the collection and processing of your personal data and for requests for information and correction, please contact info@rocken.jobs.
